
Jennifer is Principal Investigator on the European Research Council (ERC) project, “Citizen Sense”. Her research investigates environments, material processes and communication technologies through theoretical and practice-based work. Prior to joining the Department of Sociology, she was senior lecturer and convener of the design and environment master’s programmer at the University of London. Gabrys completed a PhD in communication studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
