Ludovic Leclercq is research director at IFSTTAR and professor in traffic flow theory at the University of Lyon, France. In 2015, he was awarded a European Research Council consolidator grant for a project entitled “A Multiscale and Multimodal Modelling Approach for Green Urban Traffic Management (MAGnUM)”. His research covers dynamic traffic modeling and the related environmental externalities. He is a member of the editorial board of Transportation Research part B and CACAIE, the international advisory committee of ISTTT and associate editor of Transportmetrica B. He served as scientific councilor for IFSTTAR in the field of ‘Analysis and innovation for sustainable and responsible transport and mobility’ between 2009 and 2015. He received his PhD in 2002 and engineering and master’s degrees in civil engineering in 1998.
